We recently had the pleasure of bringing a gathering of our community to DaLuChu, sharing a meal and an evening together with people we have come to know over the past year. Some of our guests were also able to stay overnight, which made the experience feel spacious and unhurried.
What struck us most about the house is the way the architecture supports connection. There is such a strong artistic vision in the design, with natural materials, beautiful proportions, natural airflow and the warmth of the earth built walls. It feels modern and considered, while at the same time deeply grounded and welcoming.
The scale of the space is remarkable. We had quite a large group together, yet it never felt as though we were on top of one another. The lounge naturally allowed for several conversations at once, while people could move between spaces and find their own way of being together. The sauna became another wonderful place to connect, while the pool gave the children their own space to enjoy.
We were also able to share beautiful food prepared by our hosts using produce from their own garden, which added another layer of care and connection to the experience.
For us, DaLuChu is much more than a beautiful villa. It is a space that genuinely understands how people gather, creating room for togetherness, privacy, conversation and rest.
It was a beautiful place to bring our community together, and we will definitely be back. supportive of our community gathering.
